If you are interested in a dog/puppy you MUST fill out the entire adoption application. If the dog is currently being fostered somewhere besides New England, your application is forwarded to our sister rescue who currently have the dogs/puppies in their care. We absolutely MUST have your vet reference and your vet's phone number. Your application must be complete and then we will check your personal references and contact you. We have dogs here in New Hampshire and we also transport dogs for our sister rescues in Alabama and Ohio. We get WONDERFUL dogs from the south and Midwest of every breed and every age. The adoption fees include spaying/neutering on dogs 6 months or older, heartworm testing, rabies and distemper vaccinations, health certificates, quarantine, initial worming and transport. We will test them with cats and other dogs for you if requested. Once a match is made, if the dog/puppy are not located near by they are transported to New England as well as other destinations if needed.
Peace and Paws Rescue is a 501(c)3 nonprofit rescue dedicated to placing abandoned, sick and homeless pets into new forever loving homes. We want every applicant to understand that this is a commitment to the lifetime of the animal with enormous responsibilities and awesome rewards. Cats and dogs bond with their human companions and need to be treated as a member of the family.
Please proceed with the application if you are willing to make that commitment. All fees and donations go directly to the care and adoption of all rescued animals.
